zamfara: governor Yari’s anointed man, koguna in talks with pdp … may replace pdp guber candidate

Report reaching us has indicated that governor yari and his anointed man are in serious talks with the leadership of pdp.

The polity gathered that, truce is yet to be reached between the duo, yari has requested for his anointed man be given the pdp ticket to fly the governotorial race in zamfara state along side with others who are likely going to contest on the pdp platform.

Yari has also requested for his senatorial ticket to contest against his boss, sen yarima.

The pdp under uche secondus has agreed with the condition, it was gathered that the pdp flag bearer hon Bello Matawalle may deputies koguna from Zamfara west.

Bello Matawalle is the current pdp governorship candidate in zamfara state, he was a three term federal lawmaker representing maradun/bakura federal constituency.

Pressure is said to be mounted for him to step down for Yari’s anointed man, koguna.

The polity gathered that Yari, koguna and some national assembly members are likely to dump apc any time from now, our source added.

Yari is seriously facing myriad of problems from the G8 who stood their ground against his choice.

The apc national chairman Adam’s oshiohmole has refused to dance to governor Yari’s music.

After several meetings with the president, for a soft landing yari has decided to pitch his tent with Matawalle. An apc stalwart who spoke with our correspondent in condition of anonymity said ” we knew yari is in talk with his friend Matawalle, now we have seen his handwriting boldly written on the word. His anointed man was in atikus house yesterday, so what else is remaining? ” let them go, we have people of impeccable characters who are well equipped to fly the apc ticket in the state, but he has a miscalculation
